Following a change of ownership and recent investment, a business park in Chippenham has welcomed its first new occupier and is now looking for more companies to join the community.

Cornbrash Park, at Bumpers Farm, on the western fringes of the town centre adjacent to the A350, has recently undergone an upgrade by owners Craigard, beginningwith the refurbishment of Unit
4A/4B, a self-contained 3 storey office at the heart of the development.

Following completion of the works, new occupier  Oakhouse Foods , part of the global Kerry Group, took a lease of the whole of unit 4A/4B, comprising a total area of 4,150 sq ft.

Property advisers Avison Young and Whitmarsh Lockhart are appointed to market the properties on behalf of Craigard.

A range of six further refurbished units are now available within the only remaining vacant office building on the park. The modern, two-storey property is able to accommodate a range of requirements from 1,330 sq ft to 9,633 sq ft, each with a number of designated parking spaces included.

Craigard purchased Cornbrash Park in 2019, with a commitment to invest significantly into this thriving working environment, with offices benefitting from new energy efficient heating and cooling systems, suspended ceilings with new inset LED lighting, new carpeting and high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout, together with new WC and shower facilities.

David Foster, Director of Craigard says: “We are delighted to welcome Oakhouse Foods to Cornbrash Park. With a range of well specified units now available, we’re looking forward to growing the community at this attractive development.”

Paul Williams, Director at Avison Young, said: “Craigard has recognised the opportunity to create a high standard of office accommodation at Cornbrash Park and has invested in a refurbishment programme to meet the needs of today’s occupiers. As a result, the Park is well placed to deliver the quality of accommodation businesses are seeking as they start to welcome their staff back to the office following the easing of lockdown restrictions.”

Paul added: “We expect market towns such as Chippenham, which are well placed for both road and rail travel, to see an upturn in activity levels, as companies give their staff the option to work closer to home, with a reduction in commuting especially to London, and an increased focus on wellness and a healthy work-life balance.”
